So, I've been looking for a decent throw-away car I can buy cheap, fix up, and sell for a proffit. I got a good deal from a friend of a friend for a 1991 audi 100 Quattro. For $1000, I got a car with electric everything, power everything, heated everything... this is a diamond in the rough, I plan to polish it out.

When I got the car it needed a fuel pump, fuel filter, oil change, and new brakes. I was able to get my hands on a digital version of the service manual (not to be confused with the owners manual) for about $20. After looking it through, I realized I can save a bundle if I did all the repairs myself. I went online and tracked down a warehouse based parts company and was able to get the fuel pump and filter, windshield wipers(why not, it's alaska), and the oil filter for under $200. I latter found brake pads for all four wheels for less than $80.

So far we're looking at $1000 for this late luxuary car and less than $300 for the parts to fix it. As I start fixing this car, I'm going to plan my progress and how I did everything. Hopefull I can help someone looking for a quick fix to their 90-92 audi 100 quattro, without having to trackdown a service manual.

Parts should start ariving on thursday or friday (9/17 9/18). Check back for updates.
